Lotus SF is one of several Indian restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area run by Surinder Sroa and his family. Surinder, or Pal as he is called by his friends, was born in India and grew up in the grocery and spice business. Surinder and his wife Linda Sroa, their son Jyoti founded the Lotus Family of Restaurants in 1998. Pal has been a resident of Marin County since 1987 and feels privileged to run the best Indian restaurants in Marin and the Bay Area. Surinder is also very proud to have many members of his family helping to make the Lotus Family of Indian restaurants the very best in the San Francisco.
No stranger to the restaurant industry, Emran has been serving satisfied customers since 1998 with work experience in Asia, the Middle East and the United States.
He hails from beautiful Goa, a popular tourist stop in Southern India. This is also where Emran fulfilled his training in customer service and F&B. Emran and his wife have 2 children.
His favorite food is typically seafood, and Lotus SF offers Tandoori Fish, which is one of his favorite meals. His favorite spices are mustard seeds, garlic and ginger.
